Pixelcade V2 Board Upgrade Kit
The Pixelcade V2 board includes built-in support for WS2812B LED strips and an upgraded 16-bit color depth, compared to the 9-bit color depth of Pixelcade V1 boards.
Includes:
- Pixelcade V2 Board
- Pixelcade LED Matrix Power Cable
- Pixelcade Pulse Cables
- Optional – Pixelcade SATA Power Cable or 12V, 5A Power Brick
Important: Pixelcade V2 boards operate on 12V power, unlike the original Pixelcade V1 boards, which use 5V. Do not reuse the power cable from your V1 board, as doing so will damage your LED panels. Use the new power cable provided with your V2 board.
The Pixelcade V2 board has the same mounting hole locations as Pixelcade V1 boards. If supplying your own power supply, use a 12V, 5A supply.
The Pixelcade SATA Power Cable offers a simple and convenient way to power your Pixelcade LCD marquee directly from your PC’s existing power supply. Just connect the cable to any available SATA power connector. If all of your SATA power connections are in use, don’t worry: cable includes a SATA power splitter. Once installed, your Pixelcade marquee will automatically power on and off in sync with your PC.
